- Application: 5/15KV Jumper-Exciter Transformer Lead Wire is primarily used for flexible power leads, which permit temporary connections or bypassing energized power lines at voltages up to 15KV, phase to phase. These lead wires must be positioned away from contact with grounds, transformer cases, cross-arms, etc., to avoid possible high stress and capacitance leakage due to the jumper is not protected against prolonged contact with other conductors or grounds by shielding.
