Electroslag Furnace Transformers Description:

Electroslag furnace transformers are used to re-melt and refine steel made by ordinary smelting methods; they are divided into single-phase power supply and three-phase power supply, and single-phase power supply is generally used. Electroslag furnace transformers do not have reactors. Electroslag metallurgy and arc steelmaking used by the arc furnace transformer is different, when the direct use of electrodes plus auxiliary steel chip method of arc slagging, only in the beginning stage of the arc, slagging is completed after the transformation into a basic arc-free slag process, this process has been continued to the end of the melting, electroslag furnace power supply transformer needs low no-load voltage and small impedance voltage. Electroslag furnace transformer low voltage to have regulation level. Voltage regulation methods are: 1, no excitation no-load voltage regulation; 2, excitation no-load voltage regulation; 3, on-load voltage regulation. Regardless of the type of voltage regulation are adjusted by the switch on the high-voltage coil.
