24kV Composite Pin Insulator description:
24kV Polymer Pin Post Insulator are made of a high-strength, lightweight material, such as silicone rubber or polyethylene, that is resistant to UV radiation, moisture, and other environmental factors. These materials have several advantages over traditional ceramic insulators, including better performance in polluted environments, easier handling, and lower cost.
The 24kV rating of this insulator indicates that it is designed to withstand a maximum voltage of 24,000 volts. Insulators with higher voltage ratings are typically larger and more complex, as they must provide greater insulation and safety margins to protect against electrical arcing and breakdown.
24kV Polymer Pin Post Insulator is applied to high voltage power line service. And have features of good hydrophobicity, anti-ageing, anti-leakage trace and electric erode proof, tensile strength and bending strength, strong mechanical strength, shock resistance good quakeproof and brittle failure proof, light weight, easy to installation, and the installation size of top and base are the same size with porcelain pin type, they can exchange to use each other.
24kV Composite Pin Insulator Advantages:
Lightweight: Polymer insulators are lighter than their ceramic counterparts, making them easier to handle and install.
Resistant to pollution: Polymer insulators are less susceptible to the buildup of dust, dirt, and other pollutants than ceramic insulators, which can reduce their effectiveness.
Resistant to weathering: Polymer insulators are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, including UV radiation, extreme temperatures, and moisture.
Lower cost: Polymer insulators are typically less expensive than ceramic insulators, which can provide cost savings for utilities and other users.
24kV Composite Pin Insulator Applications:
Power distribution: Polymer pin insulators are commonly used in power distribution systems to support and insulate high-voltage conductors.
Transmission lines: Polymer insulators are also used in transmission lines, which carry electricity over longer distances and at higher voltages than distribution systems.
Renewable energy: Polymer insulators are increasingly being used in renewable energy systems, such as wind turbines and solar power plants, to help transmit electricity generated from these sources to the grid.
Industrial applications: Polymer insulators can also be used in a variety of industrial applications, such as in high-voltage testing equipment, electrical transformers, and switchgear.
